Askja Super Jeep from Akureyri or Mývatn
The remote area around the active volcanoe Askja is a lunar-like landscape. From the end of June you can experience the barren interior of Iceland, where NASA trained Apollo astronauts and where the Icelandic outlaws lived in the middle ages.
